Exo's brand identity and products were designed to reflect their mission and goals as a visionary company. Their logotype subtlety identifies the 500lb cricket in the room. The color palette, typography, iconography and graphic patterns were all designed to showcase the brands global vision, natural curiosity and delicious products. The brand copy was developed to be provocative and inspiring, leaving customers comfortable with their decision to be seen as an explorer amongst us.
Building a brand that encourages Western cultures to eat insects is no easy task. Identifying potential issues and high-lighting the benefits was a constant discussion and essential throughout process.
